Epoxy Coatings
Epoxy coatings can be used as a sealer or as a material to create a decorative finish. It is recommended for areas that are subject to exposure to various chemicals and road salts. It is also a nice option for those who are looking for a residential floor that is easy to maintain and clean up after your children and pets.
Polyaspartic Coatings
Polyaspartic coatings, while similar to epoxy in appearance, provide chemical properties that are superior to epoxy such as abrasion resistance and UV stability.
Colour Flake Floors
Colour Flakes are 1/16th of an inch or ¼ of an inch (other sizes are available but these are the most common) vinyl flakes that are thrown into either a clear coating or a base colour coating. This provides a seamless floor that looks similar to granite with certain colours or can even be customized to your taste using any colour you choose. The benefits of a colour flake floor are; higher impact resistance and slip resistance, as well as no grout lines to take care of during the cleaning process.
Concrete Overlays
Concrete overlays can be placed over existing concrete in need of a refresh or remodel and, in some cases even over interior wood subfloors. The styling options of an overlay are truly unlimited. As the overlay material starts out in a near perfect white colour, we can work with you to create a pattern, texture, borders inlays and more.
Polished Concrete
While originally conceived for economical and durable floor finish options for commercial and industrial locations, polished concrete floors are now picking up huge momentum in the residential space. These floors are beautiful, left with a natural look or with decorative dyes or patterns added. Polished concrete is not a product, but more of a change in the condition of your existing concrete.
Rather than simply adding a coating or product to the floor, we use CPAA approved equipment and tooling to diamond grind and polish your floor while using a proprietary system of natural liquid chemicals to harden and protect the surface. When you choose to have a polished concrete floor, what you end up with is more of a natural stone floor as opposed to an artificially coated floor.
